My family and friends had the opportunity to try out UMAMI Burger at the Irvine Spectrum. WOW if you have never had one of their burgers your tastebuds are surely missing out on a truly epic encounter. With locations in CA, NY, NV, and IL you must give UMAMI Burger a try.
This was our server and he was wonderful. Comical, patient, knowledgeable and excellent customer service.
With our entourage we enjoyed many delicious burgers. Before we started we had to prep our tastebuds and our hungry crew. We started with the House Pickle Plate.
The House Pickle Plate
While all the plates were my favorite in their own unique way, I particularly enjoyed the house pickle plate. With the seasonal, artisan – crafted pickles. Pickles, peppers, beets, snap peas, carrots and mushrooms. You will surely find yourself in a pickle if everyone fancies your appetizer. I am not one for sharing. Next time I know to order two plates. One for me and one for everyone else to share.
Truffle Fries
The name says it all, with thin cut fries smothered with heavenly truffle cheese. What a warm welcome for the tastebuds. The delicate taste with the crispy warm fries set my tastebuds in sychronized bliss.
Sweet Potato Fries
The sweet potato fries were ever so dressed in their signature sweet salt. It was sweet and crispy. I am not a fan of these fries in general, yet I had a hard time keeping my distance.
The foodie prince at his finest. Fries and pickles galore what more could be right in his world. It was hard to take anything away on his plate. His shirt said, “Sorry girls mom says no dating” You would have thought it said, “Sorry Mom, I’m not sharing!”
Here is a closer look at the deliciousness! All so crispy and sweet. I loved when I took a bite it was crispy on the outside and sweet and soft on the inside. It was really hard to maintain my manners with making sure all had an ample supply.
I was elated when it was time to eat AGAIN!!!

My other foodie prince had to be “Manly” and that is just what he ordered and it was dished out!
My son ordered his with just the Beer-Cheddar and the bacon lardons. He said he wanted to skip the fancy stuff. Couldn’t have been prouder that he wanted to venture off the kids menu and
“Manup”.
The Manly ; Beer-Cheddar, bacon lardons, smoked-salt onion strings, Umami House ketchup and mustard spread.
OHH next time I will have to try this; The Ahi Tuna Burger
My oldest, the original Foodie Prince who after this is now crowned the Foodie King. I am proud that he is just so open to enticing his Palate with new adventurous foods.
The Ahi Tuna is seared sushi-grade hand-chopped ahi patty with daikon sprouts. Crushed avocado, gingered carrots with wasabi flake and wasabi tartar.
I tried the GREENBIRD. I am not a HUGE turkey burger fan. Usually when I have turkey burgers they are dry and dull. I wanted to give it a try and sure enough, this is my new favorite and I am in love with Turkey Burgers. As long as UMAMI Burger makes it, I will be sure to gobble it up and I know you would have too!

My bestie ordered the CALI, seems very fitting if you ask me. Very slick and chic. It might look small and plain however I was told it was packed with such a flavorful punch.
Cali – butter lettuce, roasted tomato caramelized onions, house spread, and Cali cheese.
It was time to relax before we venter on to dessert. What better way for us to relax. So we sat here and enjoyed the view. I want to hire their interior designer and all their chefs. Great food, perfect venue whats missing? Oh yeah their desserts!

Oatmeal cookies with warm vanilla ice cream with caramel sauce.
Oh and I pleaded for my boys to share this with me as well. I was able to get a bite.

This was my first time at UMAMI Burger and it won’t be my last. The food was fresh, delicious and presentation was five star, not to mention the customer service was outstanding. I liked the ambience of the restaurant it was so inviting and relaxing. Not only was it eye candy for me, it was also appealing on a parents level. UMAMI Burger is kid friendly and its relaxing for all. This is defiantly on one of my lists for places to go with my Boyznberries.
Wow, all that food looks so delicious. Im officially hungry now…
We are all about burgers in our house! They are our favorite meal – and the ones there look phenomenal.
I laughed about you sharing. Hubby will do it if he has too, but he most usually doesn’t want to, ha! Everything looks great.

Those burgers look really good. I know I would love to try the Manly. It looked yummy. Desert wise I would eat two of each of the amazing looking deserts featured in this post.
Wow this is a place you’d for sure not walk out of skinny but I would sure enjoy eating up all this food. I would love to sample that veggie like burger and those fries. YUM

I haven’t been to that location yet, but it’s one of my favorite burger locations. Did they have the Sloppy Mami on the menu? One of the best veggie burgers that actually isn’t a burger ever.

It is great when you have at least one child who is open to new foods and new places to eat. My sons were such picky eaters when they were young but not anymore. This place looks like an awesome place to have a great meal and a good time with family.
