I was so excited that I was able to indulge in an eyelash spa this weekend and give my lashes a new do. Something that I have wanted to do for sometime, I just didn’t want to go anywhere to get lashes put on. I wanted to go to a reputable place. One that wasn’t about quantity but pure quality, there are a lot of places offering lash extensions. Not all extensions are created equal. I have heard stories of people paying lots of $$$$ and within days their lashes fell off or you can tell they look fake.
When I went to LaSh SPot ~ Eyelash Extension Spa
they met my expectations and cured me of my fears, for eyelash extensions anyway. I met with my technician, Sierra who walked me thru the process and gave me a variety of options. I decided to do the mini extension as this was my first time and I wasn’t sure what to expect. Looking back “no pun intended” I wish I had done the full.
LaShSPot doesn’t just offer eyelash extensions they offer a variety of services. As soon as you walk in the ambiance will embrace you,
if that doesn’t make you bat your lashes, the beverage bar might. An array of choices await you, from coffee, tea, water, or wine.
They are also mommyodating as they understand you might need to bring your children in. They can stay in the lobby entertained with activities you bring for them.The activity of choice for my little guy was the greatest invention ever, soap +water = bubbles… hours of fun while mommy got to indulge. Since summer is around the corner and if you have no choice but to bring your entourage, and if they are able to sit and do an activity this is perfect.
One lash at a time……
Here we go, it starts off with admitting your lashes need
Then you lay down and get comfortable
1) My lashes were cleaned with a protein pad
2) Brushing lashes with mascara wand
3) Applying eye pads to keep bottom lashes down
4) Tape eye lids up ( despite what it might look like it didn’t feel weird)
5) Mix the glue together
6) Applying the lashes
7) Applying sealant to make lashes last longer and fan lashes with hand held fan to dry lashes
8) Get ready to bat those babies. I went with the mini extensions, and I wish I would have gone for the full. I am so satisfied with how natural they look.
I have noticed that when I put on makeup I don’t need to use mascara, but if I put it on…VAVAVOOM!
