Summer is half way over and if you are like me you are scrambling to find some last minute fun to ease in the punch of reality that school is about to start in a few short weeks. It’s the most wonderful time of year for the parents as our countdown has begun. So I don’t feel as guilty that school is starting and I can begin my routine with a few hours to myself, I wanted to end summer with a last shabang, that and I really need some me time for a couple hours. I’m going bonkers over here!!! Here are just a few summer camps in orange county that I wanted to share with you and your littles.

You can always “Hang 10” at Banzi surf school! Banzai is open all year in the safest beginner surfing spot in Huntington Beach. Our certified instructors offer more smiles per gallon with lessons that include surfboards, wetsuits, and all the sand you can eat. Banzai summer Surf Camp runs weekdays in summer from 8:30 to 12:30. We are somewhat ‘exclusive’: We limit camp enrollment to 18 kids. This offers students more surf-time than other camps, as well as more personal attention.
Its a recipe sure to make friends and some tasty treats! Culinary Kids Fun is entertaining while providing an educational kids cooking class. With 2 cups fun, 1 cup laughter, 1 tsp friends, 1 oz smiles and 1 Tbsp. creativity how could this not be sweet?!
Pali Adventures for the little explorer! My son did his 5th grade science camp here. My son is the pickiest eater and I was told from his teacher that he ate every meal. Not only that he had seconds. I could only imagine how epic the summer camp would be!
Compass Bible Church has a few camps offered for the latter half of summer. Super fun for kids entering 2nd – 6th grade. My boys have gone for the past 3 years and loved it. They did the soccer, football and Basketball camp. For the camps that are offered ; Performing Arts July 28th – August 30th; Basketball Camp August 4th -6th; and a Cooking Class August 11th -13th.
If you are up to Par, TFTOC_Summer Camps is in full swing! The First Tee of Orange County, a nonprofit dedicated to teaching life skills to youth through the game of golf, is holding summer camps atThe Islands Golf Center in Anaheim.
