Recently I had the opportunity to experience Cavalia Odysseo .
Cavalia’s production is A Family Affair. Odysseo is the second incarnation, stem from the vision and imagination of one man- Artistic Director and Creator Normand Latouelle – and the drive and determination of an entire family. Dominique, Normand’s partner in business and his sons, David and Mathieu, have embraced the adventure with open arms and the kind of passion, devotion and unwavering faith that can only come f rom a close-knit family bond.
Cavalia is internationally acclaimed and pushes the limits of live entertainment. Now the newest production is now touring the globe. Odysseo is a theatrical experience, an ode to horse and man that marries the equestrian arts.
Set under a 125 foot tall White big top audiences will be transported around the world. With more than 65 horses and an international cast play and demonstrate their intimate bond. With real carousels and a magically appearing 40,000 gallon lake in front of a stunning video backdrop.
I had the pleasure of going with my mother and two friends.
This show is family friendly for ages 5-100. If I could explain it, it would be Cirque Du Soleil meets horses. You are non stop entertained. This is a show that you will want to make a family tradition year after year. It truly doesn’t disappoint.
Before the show you have the opportunity to purchase a first class meal before the show, which I highly recommend.
I had the best time and I will back and look forward to see this spectacular show again and again. I am so thankful I was able to have the opportunity to watch it and be transported in time across the globe as I watched the dancers, horses, singers, and backdrop. It doesn’t get any better.
