You never know who you will run into on the Blue Carpet or just walking around as you are just “Chill”init.
Plenty of beautiful backdrops for photo opps so you will want to bring your camera.
As far as dress, for me below 70 degrees is equivalant to walking in The Ice Kingdom. Hey don’t judge I was born and raised in beautiful Southern Cali. So while you might dismiss my recommendation for dress, I think you should take note. It does get Chilly at night and I wold recommend dressing in layers and brining a pair of gloves and a hat for the kiddies. As you notice from the pictures it was just my youngest that felt the need to bundle up. If anything its better to be over dressed than under right? I will admit I was lugging around extra sweatshirts that my kids refused to wear.
Don’t forget to bring extra money for the festivities for;
- Additional photos taken at the event
- Food, Food and Food Galore!
- Any extras, oh and there are so many things you will want to do so come prepared.
Our tradition at The Queen Mary event is getting our picture drawn by the one and only Renee 79. I highly recommend getting one done. Don’t have the patience to sit around and wait? Don’t worry, just text him your picture while you wander out and he will text/call when your artwork is ready.
We got it done in 2014 and 2015. Bummed we don’t have 2013!
The staff is ever so patient to all the littles and the big kids at heart. Here is my teenager getting his laces tightened before he goes and braves the ice rink.
Don’t worry they have little helpers to help you glide across the ice. For an additional charge of $5 you can be oh so fierce with your little penguins.
With the polar paintball you might see a yeti or two. Well according to this ice man.
I promise all will have a ball at Chill!
