Waffle hotdogs? Yes please! The Waffle Affair in Newport definitely did it for me. My favorite, of course, was the waffle hotdogs. A mixture of the sweet and savory waffle with the classic hotdog inside accompanied with a yummy spicy mustard. I could eat them all day. Some of my other favorites were the Oven-roasted Turkey and Havarti cheese as well as the Prosciutto di Parma & Gruyere cheese savory waffles. Both had a great taste and once again all wrapped up in a waffle, amazing. You can get a glimpse here, here, and here !
The specialty waffles were a mixtures of great, even more great and absolutely great! They have a different assortment of sweet waffles, some with cinnamon sugar and glazed bites. As well as chocolate chip, carrot cake and toasted coconut waffles. So pretty much they have everything you could think of to satisfy your sweet tooth, and boy was I satisfied! I will be going back, most likely sooner than later.
